Welcome to the world!

Well my family had a wonderful surprise this weekend. My sister went into labor early and we welcomed my sweet nephew Aiden into the world. I didn’t even get a chance to blog about the sister night we spent together before he made his appearance into the world.

My sister and I spent an evening together, doing sister things because we figured it would be our last chance. My sister is 6 years younger than I am, and although we have had our fair share of ups and downs, we have a very special love for each other. At the end of the evening we went and watched Soul Surfer. {By the way, it is a great movie!} I love any excuse to watch a chick flick! And I will admit I was very surprised, the movie was really well done and I walked out feeling more inspired than ever. I recall walking out of the theater thinking, “Look at all she accomplished, what do I have to complain about in life?”

Well, it turns out we were right! Ashlee wasn’t due until April 27, but Aiden decided to make his appearance fashionably early. And of course, we were out-of-town! {Stay tuned for that post later this week} We headed home early and got to visit him at the hospital the next morning {Sunday}. He sure is a sweetie pie!

So fast asleep…

He makes the cutest little baby noises! Eee!

He is so little in his Uncle’s arms… Awh. 🙂

Welcome to the world my sweetie pie. Auntie loves you!
